AI governance coaching for executives
Your people are already using AI, whether or not you have a policy for it. Some are pasting customer information into free tools. Others are holding back because nobody has told them what is allowed. Both cost you: one in risk, the other in lost productivity.
AI governance coaching gives you private, focused time with Chris Kovac to decide how AI should be used in your business and to put that decision in writing. The goal is a policy your team can follow and your leadership can stand behind, built around your industry, your customers and your appetite for risk. Good governance is not a brake on adoption. It is what lets you adopt AI with confidence, because everyone knows the rules and who owns them.
Chris Kovac brings an operator's view to these decisions. After more than 20 years in marketing and technology, he put AI to work inside a business he ran before advising anyone else, and he is co-founder and President of the Kansas City AI Club. The conversation stays practical: what to allow, what to avoid and how to keep the policy useful as tools change.
Every session is a la carte. Book this topic on its own or combine it with other topics in the same session or block of hours. There is no program to join and no required order.

- How to evaluate AI features and terms from vendors before they touch your customers' data
- Rolling the policy out so people read it, follow it and feel safe asking questions

Frequently asked questions
Do we need an AI policy before we start using AI?
Not always, but you need some guardrails before AI use spreads. Some leaders start with governance and then look for use cases. Others already have adoption underway and need to catch up. Coaching starts from where your business is today.
Will you write our AI policy for us?
Sessions focus on the decisions behind your policy and the structure it should follow. You leave with action items and a clear outline that you and your team can turn into a final document. Review by your own legal counsel is still a good idea.
Is this legal advice?
No. Coaching covers business practice, risk and accountability from an operator's point of view. For legal and regulatory questions specific to your company, work with your attorney.
Can my leadership team join the session?
Yes. Governance works best when the people who will own it are in the room. 90-minute and 2-hour sessions suit small groups, on Zoom or in person in the Kansas City area.
How is this different from hiring a consultant to write a policy?
A consultant often delivers a document. Coaching builds your own judgment, so you can make the next ten AI decisions yourself. You leave each session with a written summary and action items within one business day.
